The Ritz, Piccadilly, London at 6pm is quite busy. At the behest of my cousin, I had had afternoon tea there, and I thought it would make a nice place to meet with Michaela, and shoot a few frames. Ignoring Michaela’s suggestion that that was not a good time and it would probably be busy, I immediately realized I should’ve paid attention to her warning.

On top of the busyness, it started drizzling moments before Michaela arrived, which forced us to stay close by the building to avoid getting wet, and ruining her hair. Thankfully, Michaela was a complete professional, and immediately went into photo-shoot mode. She charmed her way into the Ritz, changed into her leotard, and walked out 10 minutes later, ready to shoot.

My slow exposure emphasizes the busyness and non-stop pace that is London Piccadilly Square at rush hour. All the while, Michaela is calm and collected, reading the spilt tea in the evening paper, in a beautiful 4th position.
